WEDDING HUZZAHS!!!

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival celebrated it 40th anniversary this year, and as many of you know, it is one of my favorite late summer events.  For six weekends you are transported to a time long, long ago, where knights joust, players play, and revelry rules the day.  As much as I love this celebration it was even more special this year, as the final weekend played host to the wedding of my friends Steve and Todd.

The weather, though a bit warm, was perfect for the Renaissance themed ceremony, as appropriately attired guests witnessed the exchange of vows in a lovely garden setting on the festival grounds.  Following the ceremony guests moved to the reception tent, for a delicious meal, complete with fire dancers and jugglers for entertainment.  Steve and Todd (who both work at the festival) orchestrated everything in such a way that everyone had an amazing time!
