A WEIGHTY BOW TIE

My sister-in-law is a professional artist (you can view her work at Maria's Art), but in a moment of fun, she decided to deviate from her usual medium of custom oil paintings on Christmas ornaments, for a bit of levity.

Knowing how much i love bow ties, today I received a package in the mail from her.  Inside the box was a ceramic bow tie desk accessory that she made for me, and I love it.  I especially love the intricate pattern she painted on it, and how fun the piece is in general.  What better way to celebrate Bow Tie Friday?
