A LITTLE WARMER

Our snow in Minneapolis finally arrived on New Years, but it didn't truly feel like winter until this week.

After an unseasonably mild November and December, the winter cold hit with a vengeance this week. On Sunday, as I was heading to work, the actual temperature was -9, with a wind chill of -27. Quite a change for us, and it definitely made the bus stops cold for me. Fortunately things have warmed up some. This morning the temperature was only -6, with a wind chill of -26.

Of course things do warm up some throughout the day, but it is a good reminder of what things are like here in Minnesota during the winter. I hope everyone is staying warm in this weather.
