FALL BOW TIE

This is my latest bow tie from Mill City Fineries for fall, purchased yesterday at the Northern Grade event held here in Minneapolis.  As you know, I love the products from Mill City Fineries, and love that I can help support loacal small businesses, and "made in America" products.  This is their Yogi Berry Floral Bow Tie, and it was the exact bow tie I've been looking for.

JACK-O-LANTERN

Every year since I was young, I have carved a Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween.  While I don't possess the creative and artistic talents of some, my carvings have ranged from very simple, to a bit more involved.  This year was quite simple and rustic.

When I was growing up on the farm back in Iowa, our neighbor's cow gave birth to triplets. I'm no expert, but from what I can remember, this is a pretty rare occurrence.
